Hi.
This Depsoit is applied to your bill when you arrive to your apt. so it is not an extra charge, it is to protect 1.your spot and 2. The technicians time. Since we are a boutique salon we are constantly fully committed, therefore, if a client does not show up to his/her appointment it creates a gap on the Technicians schedule which is really hard to fill in last minute.
Most people that decide to not give a deposit is because they are not 100% sure they will make it to the appointment. It is a simple process to weed out clients that will become a No show.
